Governor Lolong Firmalo Appoints Chris Bech.
Tablas is completely different from the rest of the Philippines, still undiscovered and sleepy.
Making good profit is a matter of “getting in on the ground floor of development activity” on Tablas Island, which is very soon to boom.
Why wait until the ‘Big Developers’ build expensive Philippine retirement villages?
We – the retirees – can do that much cheaper ourselves, and make it exactly as we prefer.
Why wait until the ‘Big Developers’ occupy the best beach lots? We have seen this in Boracay where the price of some beach lots have increased a hundredfold.
Boracay? Or Tablas?
About 1 Million tourist visit Boracay every year; “sun, sand and party” 24/7.
But where do you go to escape the ‘karaoke terror’?
How about Tablas Island? It’s only 30 minutes by boat. Or take an airplane from Manila.

About one million tourists per year are visiting Boracay but there is no room for expansion anymore so investors are now looking at Tablas Island to develop a golf course a horse stable, an aqua sports facility, beach resorts and other world-class developments where tourists can escape the ‘Sun, Sand and Party’ of Boracay and enjoy the quietness of nature as it should be…
Look at the island of Tablas (30 minutes by boat, North-East of Boracay); it has an airport, the same beaches as Boracay, lots are cheap, and most important; it’s quiet. Far from the “karaoke terror”. Fresh air. Some locations adopt the ‘zero waste and zero pollution policy’. Koreans have built new roads around the island. A new hospital is on the drawing board (the governor of Tablas is a medical professor himself and gives the hospital priority).

And to emphasize the influence that the officers of PhilAgriVest, Inc and Sunset Beach Villas, Inc have on tourism growth on Tablas, it is worthy to note that Chris Bech has been appointed by the Governor to the Romblon Provincial Tourism Council, which serves as a consultative body and is charged with spearheading the development of tourism in the province.
Having an established a strong foothold in a relatively short period of time, the officers of PhilAgriVest and Sunset Beach companies are being approached almost weekly by other developers interested in discussing participation in eco-tourism related projects.
It is the goal of the provincial government, working hand in hand with PhilAgrivest and Sunset Beach, to develop Tablas Islands as a “world class” destination point, not just a tourism spot with great beaches, but a spot which will become known throughout the world as a place with has great beaches, caves, waterfalls, scuba diving, marine sanctuaries, etc, but just as importantly a place which maintained its environment such that as Tablas grows, it retains its understated beauty, and quiet and idyllic lifestyle.
Chris and Will are committed to the development of strong social responsibility programs, such as scholarships, feeding programs for students and the elderly, and help with the construction and renovation of schools, as well as to provide assistance for rural Tablas medical programs and missions.
